More January Happenings

Because I'm just that behind....

Snowy Days
 Disney on Ice...
 Guido Faces...
 Totally accessorized...
Annoyed that mom is taking too many pictures...
 Fancy dinner at Bravos...

Totally mesmerized...but not for long! Overall they liked the show and we had a good time as a family but June and Hank definitely got a little antsy towards the end. But still, a fun night for the kids!

Another workout shot.  I've been working out a lot more lately since doing the 21 day fix and have loved the kids jumping on the bandwagon.  Everyone was doing yoga below...
Snowy Days...
Hank loves to be outside. Often during quiet time he will go outside and play the whole time by himself, almost an hour!! Even on this snowy day, he just roamed around the yard jumping on sticks and breaking stuff.  I love this boy's heart so much.

 And this girl....
Sass for days.  I love her so much, attitude and all.

After run picture... this boy biked the whole two miles!
This was a BAD idea...
turns out those little tiny foam pieces go EVERY!!! So much for trying to be the "fun" mom!!

Oh.  And this.  Our first ER visit.  Little June bug took a bit of a spill and sent us to the ER (for the first time as parents!) for some stitches.  I'm not totally sure what happened, but June was sitting at the table eating lunch while I prepped some food and the next thing I knew...
I debated for a while if I should take her, but in the end Ben's mom and our doctor's office recommended taking her to help with scarring.  I'm glad I did.  Looking back, it would have made for a long weekend and a big scar if it had not been stitched up.
Although the stitching process was HORRIFIC!!! June had to be strapped down and was screaming and crying the entire time. Let's just say this momma's heart was broken watching her lying there.  I held her hand and comforted her as much as I could, but nothing would calm her down.

That same weekend we headed to Bloomington to visit Katy and Brandon.

And the kids hung out with my mom and family while we were in Bloomington...

Tuckered out from a long, fun weekend!

Last but not least... Lucy's daisy troop... we've been doing girl scouts this year and loving it! Lucy sold cookies, has attended monthly meetings and has had a few other fun outings with her troop.

GameDay Cheer

Lucy did cheer-leading this past winter through a program at our church called GameDay.  We had so much fun participating and it was by far the most organized and kid-centric program we have done so far.  Everything about GameDay was a success, not only with Lucy, but also with our whole family.  I was so proud to call Grace church our home, knowing that they put together such great programing.
A few of Lucy's teammates: Katie, Zoe and Ava (Emilia was not pictured below...)

Mimi visited one week and participated in one of the half time games: using Hank as a bowling ball to knock down bowling pins.  It was pretty cute.

a

Lucy's full team - they split into 2 groups for break out sessions and games.

Here are a few videos from a couple different weeks of cheer...

And we ended the season with an award ceremony.  Lucy got the determination and discipline award.  I couldn't agree more and was not surprised Lucy received those two awards - she is such a hard workers!! We are so proud of our little cheerleader!!!
We also celebrated the end of the season with the team at Fire It Up painting pottery.

So thankful for this group of girls, coaches, and the church that supported such an awesome program.

January Happenings

January was a busy month.  Well, who am I kidding, every month in 2016 has been busy!! It's April and I'm just now posting about January... things have been a bit crazy.  Here are a few highlights from the craziness..

Jadyn and Jordyn came and stayed with us for a week.  We went to SkyZone, played outside in the rain with some new Christmas presents (we had horrible weather all week so I got a little desperate!), went shopping at the mall and played at the mall play place, and went to the Cleveland children's museum.  It was tough trying to find something for kids ages 2-12, but we did our best! And didn't go too crazy. :)

And a few other random pictures...
Playing in our new teepee...
Watching the snow fall....
And my two little workout partners... I did a 21 day fix workout/diet during January and these two helped me get my workouts in every day!

And a couple random videos... June being her goofy, bossy self...

And Hank and his sweet dance moves...

Love this little ham bone.
