June 2 Months

June is growing up fast! We are already at the 2 month mark and she continues to be a very sweet baby.

Here are all the babes at 2 months... they each have their own unique look, but they all look pretty similar in my opinion!

  Stats:
Height 23.23in (69%), Weight 11lb 13.4oz (52%) , Head 39cm (60%)

Lucy wanted to join in the photo shoot the whole time... I finally let her choose a couple poses...

 Love this sweet girl...
 June at 2 Months:
-Coos and smiles all the time (Lucy and Hank love to hear her talk and see her smile and laugh at mom)
-Continues to be pretty easy going and doesn't fuss too much
-Eats every 3-3.5hrs during the day, and gives me 5-7hr stretches at night (she pretty consistently does 6hrs, and this stretch has been from 11pm-5am so I have been one happy mama!)
-Naps 1.5-2hrs after every feeding (bedtime is usually after the 8:30pm feeding)
-Almost always goes down without much fuss for her naps, but almost always wakes at the 45 minute mark and needs to be held for the rest of her nap.  (yikes! this is a bit tiring, but I have to keep telling myself that this phase will pass eventually!)
-Naps pretty well on the go, but still stirs at the 45 minute mark
-Takes a bottle, but isn't great about getting a full feeding in with the bottle (we need to work on that!)
-Had her first trip this month, we traveled to Indy to visit family and friends and show off sweet baby June
-Continues to be loved on a lot by her brother and sister.  They still love to hold her and play with her and talk to her... and Lucy still gets annoyed that she has to sleep and eat all the time!
-Has been going several days between poops... at one point we were up to 7 days so I ended up giving her a little apple juice mixed with water (per the nurses instruction)... worked like a charm!
-Has a hemangioma on her forehead (that little red birth mark that has been showing up in all her photos lately!)  Doctor says it is totally harmless, but we may need to have it removed for cosmetic purposes... meeting with a pediatric dermotologist to determine next steps
-Has survived what has been one of the worst winters Akron (and the entire country) has seen in a long time.
