More January Happenings

Because I'm just that behind....

Snowy Days
 Disney on Ice...
 Guido Faces...
 Totally accessorized...
Annoyed that mom is taking too many pictures...
 Fancy dinner at Bravos...

Totally mesmerized...but not for long! Overall they liked the show and we had a good time as a family but June and Hank definitely got a little antsy towards the end. But still, a fun night for the kids!

Another workout shot.  I've been working out a lot more lately since doing the 21 day fix and have loved the kids jumping on the bandwagon.  Everyone was doing yoga below...
Snowy Days...
Hank loves to be outside. Often during quiet time he will go outside and play the whole time by himself, almost an hour!! Even on this snowy day, he just roamed around the yard jumping on sticks and breaking stuff.  I love this boy's heart so much.

 And this girl....
Sass for days.  I love her so much, attitude and all.

After run picture... this boy biked the whole two miles!
This was a BAD idea...
turns out those little tiny foam pieces go EVERY!!! So much for trying to be the "fun" mom!!

Oh.  And this.  Our first ER visit.  Little June bug took a bit of a spill and sent us to the ER (for the first time as parents!) for some stitches.  I'm not totally sure what happened, but June was sitting at the table eating lunch while I prepped some food and the next thing I knew...
I debated for a while if I should take her, but in the end Ben's mom and our doctor's office recommended taking her to help with scarring.  I'm glad I did.  Looking back, it would have made for a long weekend and a big scar if it had not been stitched up.
Although the stitching process was HORRIFIC!!! June had to be strapped down and was screaming and crying the entire time. Let's just say this momma's heart was broken watching her lying there.  I held her hand and comforted her as much as I could, but nothing would calm her down.

That same weekend we headed to Bloomington to visit Katy and Brandon.

And the kids hung out with my mom and family while we were in Bloomington...

Tuckered out from a long, fun weekend!

Last but not least... Lucy's daisy troop... we've been doing girl scouts this year and loving it! Lucy sold cookies, has attended monthly meetings and has had a few other fun outings with her troop.
