Ben's parents offered to watch our kids a few weeks ago, so we got to spend some time away from the kids and explore Akron/Cleveland and go to a lot of places we have been dying to try since moving here. We started the weekend with appetizers in the backyard and walked over to Ken Stewart's Steakhouse down the street. We went to Melt Bar and Grill on Saturday on our way up to Cleveland for an Indiana's game.
On of our friend's, Pam, generously invited a group of us up to her parent's suite for a game. It was the perfect way to enjoy a game! After the game we went out in Cleveland and stayed the night downtown with our friends.
The next day Ben and I drove to Geneva on the Lake. The town has some beautiful and fun parts, but also has a bit of a weird downtown. We had the best time renting a tandem bike, riding to the beach, and visiting a winery (all things on the edge of town). We did walk through the downtown for the experience, but both agreed it was a little too much!
We ended the night with a drive-in movie! We had so much fun together and loved exploring our town a little more than we can without the kids.
