Lucy and Hank played T-ball this summer and we got to enjoy another season of them being on the same team. I know those days are going to be over soon, but we've enjoyed being able to have one practice and one game to go to so far. The kids overall seemed to really like T-ball. Hank seems to actually be getting hang of the sport and was really hustling to make plays the day I took my camera. It was awesome to see him going after the ball and trying to make outs (despite the fact that in this league there is actually no scoring and every player gets on base).
Lucy seemed to enjoy t-ball but it might be more of the social aspect that appeals to her. Her little best friend Sophie is on the team and they had the best time hanging out and we got to hang with and get to know Sophie's parents through out the summer. It made for a great season!
I'm not sure if we'll have any baseball/softball players in our house, but we are sure hoping one of the sports the kids try takes off. Ben and I love sports and activities so much, we're excited and hopeful to see what our kids end up falling in love with!
