Hank graduated from pre-k in May as well. His preschool celebrates with a graduation bowling party every year and we were so excited to celebrate with Hank this year!
This year Ben got to come too! It was such a great day to celebrate our big boy!
Lucy got to come too - but didn't get to participate, she had pink eye! This actually led to a 5 day battle with pink eye. We had started her medicine on a Thursday morning (she stayed home Thursday after waking up with goop) and she was still showing irritation Friday morning, which is weird for pink eye treatment. Unfortunately we had to leave for Indy and hope for the best... which we did not get. Lucy woke up Saturday morning with eyes that were still irritated and my mom's party was that same day! We made it to a medcheck and got updated medicine (apparently she was allergic to the one we were using), not exactly how I was planning to spend the morning of my mom's party but we made it work!
Lucy didn't mind sitting out too much - an iphone and some headphones and this girl is in heaven.
We are so proud of our little boy! This past year he really took off with his learning and began to love school. Miss Nichole and Miss Mindy both said he was a joy to have in class and they were always impressed with his ninja like skills. They even announced him as "Hank 'the Ninja' Wehner"... and no other kid was given a nickname at the graduation
We loved our experience at Montrose Zion and were so thankful to Hank's teachers for loving him and teaching him while he was at school.
He also had an award ceremony at the church that hosts Hank's preschool. I wasn't able to attend, but Ben took the kids and got several pictures!
